In this blog, I want to demonstrate that mathematics can be beautiful in many different ways. Besides being elegant in mathematical, arithmetical, and logical forms, mathematics can also offer beautiful and meaningful visual expressions. I came to this realization during a holiday in England, where I happened to attend a very small conference featuring lectures on science. One of the lectures I attended was about Mathematical Knitting, which inspired me to create this blog.
I want to provide more examples than just knitting, although I do plan to give it some attention. I will also 3D print, cut, sew, and more. In every activity, I will start from one or more mathematical principles that I will highlight.
This blog is not about classroom teaching of mathematics or proving mathematical theorems— there are better blogs and vlogs for that.
I hope you, as a reader and viewer of this blog, will greatly enjoy my articles.
